🔹 About DIN 1.4435 (316L)
DIN 1.4435, also designated as AISI 316L or UNS S31603, is a low-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. Its reduced carbon content provides excellent weldability and resistance to intergranular corrosion, while the molybdenum enhances resistance to chlorides, acids, and aggressive environments.
