🔹 About DIN 1.4541 (AISI 321)

DIN 1.4541, also designated AISI 321 or UNS S32100, is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel that provides improved resistance to intergranular corrosion compared to 304.

Key Features:

  • Excellent resistance to oxidation up to 925 °C

  • Stabilized with titanium to resist carbide precipitation

  • Good weldability and formability

  • High creep strength at elevated temperatures

  • Non-magnetic in annealed condition

🔹 International Equivalents

  • DIN / EN: 1.4541 – X6CrNiTi18-10

  • AISI / ASTM: 321 – TP321

  • UNS (USA): S32100

  • JIS (Japan): SUS321

  • BS (UK): 321S31

  • AFNOR (France): Z6CNT18-10

  • GOST (Russia): 08KH18N10T / 08KH18N12T
