DIN 1.4845 (X8CrNi25-21) is an austenitic, heat-resistant stainless steel, internationally known as AISI 310S / UNS S31008. It contains high levels of chromium (24–26%) and nickel (19–22%) to deliver:

  • Excellent resistance to oxidation and scaling up to 1100 °C

  • High strength and toughness at elevated temperatures

  • Good creep resistance and metallurgical stability

  • Resistance to carburization and corrosive industrial environments

It is widely used in industrial furnaces, boilers, petrochemical plants, power generation, refinery equipment, and exhaust systems.
