DIN 1.4878 (X8CrNiTi18-10), also known as AISI 321H / UNS S32109, is a titanium-stabilized austenitic heat-resistant stainless steel. It is designed for high-temperature service and offers:

  • Good resistance to carburizing gases

  • Moderate resistance to oxidizing and reducing sulphur-bearing gases

  • High strength at elevated temperatures

  • Excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion due to titanium stabilization

Applications: boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers, petrochemical plants, furnace components, and exhaust systems.
