What are orifice flanges used for?
Orifice flanges are used in pipelines to measure flow rates using orifice plates or flow nozzles. They integrate pressure tap holes that eliminate the need for pipe wall tapping.
Which pressure classes are supported?
We supply Class 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500 weldneck flanges, and Class 300 slip-on/threaded flanges per ASME B16.36.
What tapping options are available?
Each flange typically includes two ½″ NPT tappings. Optional configurations include corner taps and socket weld connections, per FM-CR/FLGA datasheet.
Do you provide gasket and bolting kits?
Yes. Gasket options include IBC and spiral wound types, and bolting sets can be provided in ASTM A193/A194 grades, also conforming to NACE.
How are flange sizes specified?
Weldneck flanges require pipe schedule (ID) at the time of order. Dimension tables for sizes 1″ to 24″ across all classes are available upon request.
Can orifice flanges be supplied with flow nozzles?
Yes, complete assemblies including orifice plates, flow nozzles, and jacking screws can be supplied by request.
