🔥 UNS N06002 Heat Treatment & Fabrication

UNS N06002 Solution Annealing: 2150°F (1175°C) followed by rapid air cooling or water quenching
UNS N06002 Hot Forming: Best between 2150°F and 1800°F (1175–980°C)
UNS N06002 Cold Forming: Excellent formability in annealed condition; higher forces needed vs stainless steel
UNS N06002 Welding: Suitable for TIG, MIG, SMAW, SAW using INCONEL® 117, 617, or matching HX filler
UNS N06002 Post-Weld Treatment: Not mandatory; but solution anneal is recommended for best corrosion resistance
