Overview

UNS N06601 / Inconel® 601 is a solid solution strengthened alloy with:

  • Excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1200 °C (2200 °F).

  • Superior performance in cyclic heating and cooling conditions.

  • High resistance to carburization and carbon nitriding environments.

  • Non-magnetic with good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance in aqueous and hot gas environments.
