About UNS N07080 (Nimonic 80A)

UNS N07080, also known as Nimonic 80A, is a nickel-chromium alloy reinforced with titanium, aluminum, and carbon.
It offers high mechanical strength, oxidation resistance up to 815 °C (1500 °F), and excellent creep resistance, making it suitable for aerospace, power generation, and petrochemical industries.

Chemical & Mechanical Properties

Typical Composition (%):

  • Nickel (Ni): Balance

  • Chromium (Cr): 19–21

  • Titanium (Ti): 2.0–2.5

  • Aluminum (Al): 1.0–1.8

  • Carbon (C): 0.06–0.15

  • Iron (Fe): ≤3

  • Manganese (Mn): ≤1

  • Silicon (Si): ≤1

Mechanical Values:

  • Tensile Strength: 900 MPa (131 ksi)

  • Yield Strength (0.2% offset): 550 MPa (80 ksi)
