About UNS N08031 (Alloy 31)

Alloy 31 (1.4562, Nicrofer® 3127 hMo) is an advanced iron–nickel–chromium–molybdenum–nitrogen alloy designed for exceptional resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids, especially sulfuric and phosphoric acid. It offers outstanding pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chloride-bearing environments, making it an ideal choice for aggressive chemical processing industries.
