What Is ASTM A403 WP304L?

WP304L is an austenitic stainless steel grade under ASTM A403 for wrought piping fittings. It contains low carbon content, which minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, enhancing corrosion resistance and weldability. It is suitable for continuous service at elevated temperatures up to 870°C and is widely used in high-pressure, high-temperature, and hygienic environments.
